Great, sounds really cool, plus it could bring new, younger fans over to the Album. Now am I an old fart for never having heard of Kesha before? Or is it just that she's not as big in the Uk? And just how popular is she in USA? I see this song as a sleazy seductress type thing, along the line's of Don't know why I'm down here, ok better stop getting carried away now.

OOOoooops.
Re: Alice Talks "What Baby Wants" & Ke$ha
Dadascot -> I get the same feeling when I read it.
I hope this song will be a good surprise as for "Baby Can't Drive".
Thanks for the link.

IMO I hope it's much better as Baby can't drive.
That was an average song but that's a matter of taste.

Hope so too...mestreech wrote:IMO I hope it's much better as Baby can't drive.
Still not very excited about the idea that Ke$ha is on the new album. But... I just have to trust Alice, I guess...

I feel the same way not too excited about ke$ha on the album but Ke$ha has a good singing voice and I think it will be a good song. She is in my opinion a far better pop singer than Beyonce definetely. anyone agree?Lisacooper91 wrote:Hope so too...mestreech wrote:IMO I hope it's much better as Baby can't drive.

Really? To be honest, I think she needs to learn how to articulate. And... IMO she sings very false live (from what I've seen/heard).AliceFan wrote:Ke$ha has a good singing voice
But... maybe I should stop judging until I heard the actual song. And after all, it is Alice Cooper... Who never fails to shock and he succeeded with collaborating with Ke$ha...
IMO I think GaGa would've been a better choice. She has a wonderful voice and sometimes very raw and rock-ish

Re: Alice Talks "What Baby Wants" & Ke$ha
Doesn't Ke$ha usually use quite a lot of auto-tune? At least in the songs I've heard. Anyway, I'm really interested to hear how it turns out especially since I more or less agree with Alice that she might be better suited to sing rock than pop.

auto tune can be used in a creative way

I mean it's not necessarily 100 percent bad

And Bob Ezrin.Lisacooper91 wrote:Hope so too...mestreech wrote:IMO I hope it's much better as Baby can't drive.

People, like Mitch, who have heard this song seem to not mind her involvement, thus I will kindly remind people here (and not so kindly elsewhere) to reserve judgement til you've heard it.
Re: Alice Talks "What Baby Wants" & Ke$ha
And speak of the devil, Mitch just posted this about the track on his F.B.:
"I LOVE the KESHA track.... it's fantastic..."
He really loves this album!

You're right that auto-tune in itself perhaps isn't a bad thing. However I'm not generally a fan of how Ke$ha uses it but I'm really interested to hear how she sounds without it (if she is without it that is).Mr. Skull wrote:auto tune can be used in a creative way

That's what I had in mind too when I heard about this. It could be very interesting.Awakening wrote:I hope this song will be a good surprise as for "Baby Can't Drive".
Hers is exactly the kind of music I don't like, but I'm really interested to hear how this will sound.
Re: Alice Talks "What Baby Wants" & Ke$ha
from what I've heard of this song it's nice.... not an smashing hit, but very interesting to get... I remember that at first I was scared to know that kesha was in the album.... but overall....I admit that I really like the result...I think that mayyyyybe alice's voice is too forced in the high notes, at his limit.
Everytime Alice used a female voice as Zombie Dance, Jesse James, Sister Sarah and others I loved it.
