I saw the Alice Cooper Group during their stunning Billion Dollar Babies tour so I know of what I speak.

This album makes zero sense.

The original WTMN was a concept record about a dream/nightmare.

Welcome Doh! My Nightmare just rips off the best instrumentals from the original and then wraps them around the newer inadequate songs.

None of these newer songs have a cohesive nightmare theme to them at all...

Hey I stated that When Hell Comes Home and The Congregation ( sans the toilet humor ) were digestable but even then The Congregation is a Manson rip off...

If negative things is all you have to offer.....please let go of your 1972 Billion Dollar Babies concert experience and move on with life. Obviously, everyone else has...including the original Alice Cooper Group. Either "be a player or get out of the game"....I believe "being a fan" means that you accept the musical and creative changes with a group or artist throughout the years. Alice Cooper is clearly NOT going to stop making records...so, you, Parish, may need to stop listening and find another group or artist to be a fan of.

Although, you may find it hard to find a band willing to dress like girls, sing about necrophilia, and create anthems as timeless as "I'm Eighteen" and "School's Out"...then, break up the band, go solo to create even more outlandish music, nearly die from alcoholism, then rebuild the entire brand from the ground up.

Go ahead...Parish, try to find a better and more interesting artist than Alice Cooper. But stop bitching about what you can't change...please.

I initially gave my review of how I truly felt and then defended those thoughts when provoked, I wasn't bitching at all...

Totally agree...as long as those changes are on par with what the artist has done in the past in regards to quality.

The Decemberists are boring and you know know it. Being a fan of Coheed and Cambria doesn't make me say crappy things about Alice Cooper...because Coheed makes concept albums.....Claudio Sanchez wishes he could make a concept album with Bob Ezrin.
