Hell, I live in Michigan, which is about 500 miles north of the Orlando resort and I am not sure I could afford to go. I would love to get down there for one of these events, and may do so in the future. It is very expensive. You have to buy tickets to get into the park and a separate ticket for the Halloween Horror Nights event. It is a goal of mine, but need to lose more weight first. 70 pounds off and another 60 or so to go yet.

i'm almost 100% sure that the end with the orchestra is a new mix or song (I hope).WickedYoungMan wrote:Re: The Music. It's possible it is from the new album (Alice did say after all that there would be musical throwbacks here and there) but the first half of it is simply the opening (even if it's a re-recording) to "Welcome To My Nightmare" and then the instrumental middle section of "Only Women Bleed" before going off into something else.
Re: Alice Cooper Halloween Horror Nights 2011 Announcement
Yes.. that's what I said. It sounds like a newly recorded medley with new parts.
Re: Alice Cooper Halloween Horror Nights 2011 Announcement
I think I confused a few of you with how I wrote my post - I've been to the Orlando Universal for Horror Nights before, but I've never been to the Hollywood one - and this is taking place at the Hollywood one. Sorry for the confusion!! More info is on the news page.

there are some traditional pagan celebrations for Hallowe'en over here without the American commercialism, it's like people don't know it's actually a religious festival!Gorehound wrote:It's times like this when I really wish I was American (or had the money to come over for Halloween ). I drove to Stone Henge for Halloween a few years back (only about 40 mins from where i live). I won't divulge on what went on but suffice to say it was a hell of a trip! Not a scary mask or pumpkin in sight thank God!steven_crayn wrote:there are some traditional pagan celebrations for Hallowe'en over here without the American commercialism, it's like people don't know it's actually a religious festival!Gorehound wrote:It's times like this when I really wish I was American (or had the money to come over for Halloween ). As a fan of horror it's the American commercialism that I would love to have over here lol. I love the dressing up and the awesome decorations you can get these days, and I would love to do the whole haunted house thing that I've seen in American TV shows and stuff and heard about but never come across owt like that on the same scale over here.
Maybe the traditional type celebrations would be fun, I don't know all that much about it to be honest. But I do wish we would celebrate it in the same way as they do in America too. Some day when I can afford I've gotta spend Halloween in the states

I can take you to this amazing haunted woods I discovered last year. There is a backstory and everything. It has at least 15 trailers, small houses etc. all decorated. Someone can and will jump out at you in the woods too. Oh yea, I put up my halloween decoration around the 20th of September.Gorehound wrote:As a fan of horror it's the American commercialism that I would love to have over here lol. What makes it really interesting is that it is on a working farm and they also have a corn maze. At night, it is haunted and a riot to walk through. This link is the story for the haunted woods last year.

I love Stonehenge in fact Wiltshire has so many sacred sites have stayed in the haunted Red Lion pub in Averbury in the middle of the largest Stone Circle in Europe a few times magical place to be especially around the summer solstice. While Heaven Wept wrote:I drove to Stone Henge for Halloween a few years back (only about 40 mins from where i live). I know the Scottish Cooper tribute band Gallus Cooper played a gig on the Orkney Isles where one of the most famous Stone Circles The Ring Of Brodgar is, wish I had gone to that, always wanted to visit.
Cornwall has got some great pagan sites love it there too.

Give that the bravewords review included this "'The Underture' closes out the album with snippets (a megamix if you will) of the original 'Welcome To My Nightmare', 'Only Women Bleed', 'Black Widow' and more." it makes me wonder if the music we hear in this trailer might be that.
"You, sir, are a demented, sick, degenerate, barbaric, naughty freako."
Re: Alice Cooper Halloween Horror Nights 2011 Announcement
I also think a part of the new album (Underture??) was part of the trailer.
