I just watched that video for the first time. I must say that was absolutely terrifying. There's your 'Welcome 2 My Nightmare' right there. That's kind of how I feel when I'm drunk at a party. The people and room close in on me. I do not wish to watch that video again. :(

Tell me that's not a disco song, Gunner.

I would pay a few quid for the No more Love video not to be available in the future..maybe enough of us could buy it together and dispose of it...theres some PR value in this somewhere, maybe

Bad album, bad video. Seems to me Alice did not want to be Alice at that point in his career. Maybe a alcohol haze was to blame or maybe when you chase what's popular and try to please everyone, you usually end up pleasing no one.

They are not so bad. I would love to see a Blu-ray with all of the Alice Cooper Music videos. Together. If another box set it would be cool to see the "forgoten Years" set just a collection from those albums. Like Old School but around those years.

It's not a disco song.

The video is atrocious, but the song is good. Whoever is repsonisble for the video should be ashamed of themself/selves!!

I think, for some people who insist on referring to No More Love At Your Convenience as 'disco', it may be an idea for them to provide their reasons for thinking so, rather than categorically make the claim. I mean, it's possibly something one could dance to (I doubt it though, and have never seen anyone try to), it has a 'cabaret dance feel', one could almost label it a 'dance tune' if pushed, but the whole idea may have been to tie in with the 'media theme' of the album, but is it 'disco'?? Think about The Bee Gees, Donna Summer, Chic and dancing under a mirrored ball with a throbbing, prominent bass line and soaring vocals, then think of Alice Cooper's NMLAYC and maybe re-think it through.

Also, I don't consider 'I was made for loving you' by KISS as disco either. It's a rock song with a slight 'disco' feel and didn't get anywhere in the discos (like NMLAYC) - an important point!!! People (especially rock fans) get excited about these things.

To me, it has always come across as one of those big opening numbers of a big broadway show or something (which is what, I believe, it is meant to sound like - think of the show), where there are lots of dancers, a big orchestra etc, but not disco!!

NOW, 'Another one bites the dust', THAT'S A DIFFERENT MATTER ALTOGETHER!! :smack: ::((:

Gunner, it's OK to admit you like a disco song.

Denying that it's a disco song doesn't change the fact that it is.

Now the question is, can you dance?

ALICE may hate disco, but VINCE likes it.

In that it took the dance clubs by storm, reached No 1 in the dance charts and was about as disco as you could get. It wasn't a rock song with a slight dance feel (like I was made...), and it wasn't a dance style song like NMLAYC, IT WAS DISCO!!

OK, I like a disco song!? I tend to like songs as opposed to certain styles, so that's no problem if it makes people happy here.

Is it though? seriously, google top 100 disco songs and see if you can find one like NMLAYC in any way.
Now the question is, can you dance?
Yes, I'm OK actually. :8):

NMLAYC is a good song I like it, it's just not a rock song and when Alice does a song that doesn't rock (aside from a ballad) it makes some people feel uneasy. Having said that I prefer it when Alice does rock songs but rock can have many influences even disco beats and disco string arrangements!
