Re: W2MN in North America??
Alice is on Universal in the UK,among other countries, and Universal owns Hip-O in the US.The article did say "LP" along with CD and DD,so maybe its a speciality type of release along the lines what they have going in THe UK Fan Pack,,,just a guess.probably wrong.

If the release date for the US is the 13th september, have we a chance to have the artwork in few weeks ?
I think it's possible... I hope so.

Why guess? The press release says the single is due 12th September.
No one has mentioned a video.

Re: W2MN in North America??
I could see Alice promoting the album with a "summer co headlining tour" with someone such as Marilyn Manson(also has a new album coming out in the fall i heard), Ozzy,Motley Crue (Cruefest),etc. The lineup on the album, and recent increase in media attention Alice has been getting in The U.S. makes it seem as if Alice may be poised to make some sort of a "comeback" (how big it will be i have no clue).A summer tour with another Shock/Classic Rock icon would certainly be perfect timing.

Re: W2MN in North America??
I agree, I especially would love to see a tour with Ozzy because they are my two favorites. Marilyn Manson would certainly be interesting, 10 years ago I would have said it would never happen because they didn't like each other. But now that they are on good terms the timing seems pretty good. and I'm sure it could be promoted very well too. Motley Crue would be great in an arena setting but not at Cruefest. The last thing I wanna do is see Alice do the W2MN tour in the daylight, I think it would take alot away from the atmosphere. But doing a coheadlining tour with another shock/classic rock band would be great exposure an would allow him to play bigger venues and in front of more people.

Re: W2MN in North America??
^^ yeah true the daylight issue at cruefest would be a problem, i was thinking it would be similar to how on Mayhemfest Zombie played from 855-955, but that wouldn't really work for either acts on Crue Fest, (since usually Motley plays 75-90 mins on Cruefest/glamageddon)

Re: W2MN in North America??
The more I think about it the more I think Marilyn Manson/Alice Cooper would make the most sense at this time. Lets face it, people have always asked about it and as I said they both have new albums coming out. It would get people talking for sure. Either way I can't wait for the show whenever it is or whoever it's with

Re: W2MN in North America??
I was always under the impression, but it was probably the media playing them against each other. I know both guys were constantly compared to each other and Manson started getting pretty defensive about it. He always admited Alice's influence but said he lost respect and was dissapointed when he found out it was an act. Alice said he liked some of his music but felt he was ripping him off. I always used to tell people I could imagine them getting along pretty well if they ever met and I guess I was right. I do know both guys have said alot of positive thing about each other since. Now someone just has to get Alice and Blackie Lawless in a room togetherA_MichaelUK wrote:>I would have said it would never happen because they didn't like each other.

Re: W2MN in North America??
My immediate reaction is that the W2MN Tour would be Alice as the headliner, as the talk has been of a full scale theatrical presentation for W2MN.
My second thought of a double bill leads me to think of Van Halen, as the new VH album is done and being mixed and due out sometime this fall.
Also Van Halen and Alice are on the same bill in Australia for the Soundwave Revolution this September.
Anyway it plays out, we are all so very fortunate to have our beloved Alice still touring.

I'm sure it woul still be a full scale theatrical presentation if it was a co headlining tour with someone.

The latter was interviewed by the former on the radio about a year ago but it wasn't particularly interesting.
