W2MN: Vincent Price follower?
I have heard rumors of Sir Christopher Lee doing a Vincent Price kind of style part for the new record.
Anyone knows if this is truth?

Re: W2MN: Vincent Price follower?
Alice did say in an interview a while ago that the would like to get Christopher Lee but im not sure if anything came of this. Im sure Lee would be up for it he recently recorded his own symphonic metal album and recorded a voice over for Manowar.

You can hear Christopher Lee on this Manowar track:

This is a recent re-recording. Manowar used Orson Welles on the original.
Personally, I don't think you can get much creepier than Vincent Price. A perfect choice for WTMN.
Still, if Christopher Lee is on this album, that would be extremely cool.

I agree Vincent Price is creapier but Lee would be great if he would be on W2MN.
BTW On the re recording Manowar song. I prefere the Orson Wells over the Lee version though.
But that being said I am not normally a fan of re recordings.

If Alice could get Christopher Lee on WTMN 2 it would be a major coup. Understandably Lee isn't gonna jump at every offer he gets. Is it gonna happen ? there has been nothing to indicate Lee has recorded any vocals or that he has even been offered. At the same time the album is apparently already done, however never say never because nariation could be added on at any time before the release. I do think Lee is probably the only guy to live up to Price's voice if thats what The Coop wants to go for and he is just as big of a legend. I think if it was gonna ever happen (Lee working with Alice) this would be the best time, but who knows ?

Actually we don't know how much of the album is done as Wagner just added his parts just recently. Prob most of it is done except for tweaks here and there.HORRORHOLIC wrote:If Alice could get Christopher Lee on WTMN 2 it would be a major coup. Thats true too. I guess I can now officially jump in the we want Christopher Lee bandwagon. I have no idea if it will happen or not but I don't think anyone would disagree it would be more then just a nice touch. I don't think we should expect it though, in case it doesn't happen we shouldn't be dissapointed because I'm sure the actual music is more then likely still gonna kick ass. But yeah I'm all for it and think it would be great for the album for sure.

I would love christopher lee...he is a legend...wish peter cushing or donald pleasence were still around....they would be ideal...but for those alive, either Lee or Anthony Hopkins....

..I've got an old audio-book recording of Christopher lee reading "the Exorcist"..... which is seriously creepy!!
...not knowing too much about the album, it would be a nice "Touch" to have some kind of spoken-word segment to it somewhere..
