I know. I'm the one who told Si about it.Gunner wrote:That was on the news page here,
No obligation. It was posted here for people to discuss it, which you can't do on the news page.or are we obliged to copy and paste it into topics for those that don't bother with Alice news but still want it!??!

Something I just thought about.. I wonder if there is going to be a curator figure on the album?

Lead guitar on Social Debris. Album on iTunes, Amazon & Spotify, title track featured on TV

Fair enough mate. I'm not sure the entire copy and paste lark was necessary, but maybe I'm being a tad pedantic. No obligation. It was posted here for people to discuss it, which you can't do on the news page.

Tell me which bit you don't understand and I will try and help. Although, I somewhat doubt it from your very comment.Hardly anything of what Gunner writes makes sense to me.
Give it a try, I doubt you will.

exactlyGunner wrote:Oh aye, and Steven, Only Women Bleed, Some folks, Cold Ethyl etc, all sound like titles that link at first eh??is this going to be another concept album? i just can't see (at the mo) how the songs would fit together, given the titles.

Just as specific as I anticipated. Tell me what you don't understand, and I will try to help you out my dear fellow sickthing. Most of what you write,
We have a member GlenNealDennisMike that appears to have a bias towards the original band minus Alice - hence the user name that excludes Alice. The repetititon is merely my way of emphasising the fact that Alice is excluded, that I am aware of his bias, and just the general confusion of it. 'Where is such a member' should be a question that is understandable I hope. I hope that clarifies it for you. Thanksand that post with Glen, Neal, Dennis and Mike, what was all that about?

.......Anyway, with Alice you should be used to 'confusion' and embrace it.

September was quoted in a recent article as per another thread.

Another thing that I was happy about was that Dick mentioned an orchestra. Assuming it's not like a VST kind of thing, this is really good and I believe is a very Ezrin-ish thing. It seems like a lot of attention to detail is being paid.

It seems that this album is a somewhat more ambitious project than ACAS(at least). Actually I want to hear something more risky and creative this time. That orchestra thing made very excited. It is probably the first track and I hope it starts WTMN2 with a big bang. It definately sounds more promising than that Prologue thing on ACAS.

I thought the opening to Along Came A Spider was pretty good. There's something about a female voice describing mayhem and murder that's just... magical. The son of Don Quijote wrote:It definately sounds more promising than that Prologue thing on ACAS.
If I may put forward a slice of personal colostomy...
Re: Dick Wagner's Update on "W2MN"
i agree with you on the opening of ACAS but after that all the magic was gone.Shoesalesman wrote:I thought the opening to Along Came A Spider was pretty good. This could have been a very magical album.

A decent enough album with some production issues, that's all. Some tracks are a bit suspect, others are really good. A great concept thread throughout the album. Then again, all of this is a matter of opinion.mestreech wrote:i agree with you on the opening of ACAS but after that all the magic was gone.Shoesalesman wrote:I thought the opening to Along Came A Spider was pretty good. Just like some people love Deeper and there's not a thing I can do about that.

I love "Deeper" and I am not ashamed to say so!
I love the heaviness of it and I think the "operatic" bridge was a great production idea that works well within the song.
Of course it´s a matter of taste and opinion.
Just like some people love "Enoughs enough" and " No More Love At Your Convenience" and there´s not a thing I can do about it (or care to, for that matter...)
