Am going to the Dublin Def Leppard show, and as I haven't booked my hotel yet, I was wondering how to make sure it's the same one as the band - any ideas anyone?

If you really want to be sure of meeting Alice why not just go for one of the v.i.p packages?

Firstly, the band may not stay at the same place as Alice.

Secondly, 'to make sure'?? Well, there are certain people that would be almost certain of where he is staying but you need to be on speaking terms with them I suspect, AND they should be a liberty to divulge such information, which they may not be.

The only way to be sure, is to watch him sleep there I guess, but seeing him check-in is probably a give away too!!?

I would imagine that the location of Alice's hotel is strictly confidential.Maybe one near a golf course might be a good bet!

I have stayed in the same hotel as Alice & company once & didn't realise until we all checked out together. Speechless didn't cover it!

No I am not a stalker, I just can't afford the VIP. I won the last one and I was so gobsmacked I didn't say anything, so I'd just like to make up for that

Before the expensive 'meet and greet' lark, you could leave the gig early and follow that transit van (that he ran off the stage into)!!! OR, jump on that funny pink coach!!!

Hmmm. It's academic, now cos I've booked it. It's pretty close to the venue, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

If you really want to meet Alice, the best and most likely place to do that is at the best shopping area closest to the venue. He goes Golfing every morning that he can, and goes to the mall almost every day.

Even if you are staying at the same hotel, he is much more likely to sign something while he is out and about, because if he signs one thing at a hotel then he has to sign stuff for the entire lobby and do an impromptu meet n greet. Usually we rush him in and rush him out to avoid getting stopped. He doesn't mind signing anything and he loves and appreciates his fans, but there's not always time due to our schedule.

There are 6 people who are in the lobby of the hotel today who have been here for 3 days. They are staying at the same hotel, and they still haven't met Alice. So there is no guarantee you'll meet him just by finding out what hotel he is staying at. And you won't find out for SURE, because no one with that information would give it out because they would loose their job. It's usually a better experience for fans meeting Alice out and about, rather than those cornering him at the hotel.

That's brilliant, Kyler, thank you SO much. I know it must be a real pain in the a*se for him, but I really want to meet him again and hopefully speak this time . Am saving for the VIP, but it's going to take some time, so I hope he is coming over to the UK later in the year.

A coworker of mine checked him out at WalMart (in Wisconsin, in fact) a few years ago.

And last year I saw him come back into a hotel with a ShopKo bag.

So, ya never know!
