Behind the Music Remastered
It was awesome...they added roughly 15 - 20 mins of new footage going over Brutal Planet, Dragontown, The Eyes of Alice Cooper, Dirty Diamonds, The Theater of Death, his radio show, Along Came A Spider and its charting success, his golf game, all the awards he has won in the last few years, and the Gruesome Twosome Tour.

Re: Behind the Music Remastered
I completely forgot about this, but they're re-running it later today at 3pm and I believe a few more times as well.

loved the additional footage with eddie trunk, ryan roxie, calico, danny saber (ACAS co-producer),and rob zombie. I will not be deleting this off the DVR.
Re: Behind the Music Remastered
Yes, that was very nice, the additional footage. I really enjoyed it. Hubby's nephew even sat down to watch it with us and liked it. I'll turn him into a sickie yet!scotty wrote:loved the additional footage with eddie trunk, ryan roxie, calico, danny saber (ACAS co-producer),and rob zombie. I will not be deleting this off the DVR.
Funny you say that you won't be deleting it - I always delete things, it's so automatic for me. And I didn't for this, without even thinking about it. My hubby asked me if I was going to watch it again and I couldn't understand why he asked that. lol Wish my dvd recorder hadn't broken; I would have loved to transfer this.
It's just the little things...

Re: Behind the Music Remastered
The extra material was very good to see.
It was a treat to Calico and Ryan Roxie get a few words in here and there as well.
After all these years it is so nice to see Alice getting the respect he so truly deserves.
Someone posted here that they hope it is released officially...I'm with you on that one...it would be nice to own.
~Cheers, RGLT

Re: Behind the Music Remastered
I love what was said about Dragontown...there was something about the segment that was just so cool...maybe the timing...I don't know...but its great:
"Continuing his theme, his next album Dragontown, was a clear message that if we didn't get a spiritual transformation, we were headed for hell itself."
"Once your in hell, which is dragontown, there's no way out...once your there, your there...that's biblical."
Then it immediately goes into "We can dig you a hole, deep in the ground, bury your soul, down in dragontown."
GENIUS

Re: Behind the Music Remastered
It was great to see so much time devoted to Alice's newer works. So many times people overlook the fact he has put out some solid material in recent years and his stageshow is still great. It always amazes me when people who were big Alice fans in the 70's or even in the 80's don't realize he is still around.
Re: Behind the Music Remastered
I know just what you mean-my older sister got me into alice and had every album from "pretties for you" until "welcome to my nightmare". she went to the dirty diamonds show with me,and was lost for more than a few songs! I had to break it to her that alice resumed recording in 1976.............

Re: Behind the Music Remastered
I found this online with comments from people saying it allowed them to watch video that was region blocked in Australia. It's a free program:
