I'm thinking this could be Alice's biggest release ever.. The tour that follows could be monumental.. I'm excited about this.

I hope so, and have a sneaking feeling it could be. If that is the case then I feel he may well 'sign off' with that.

I think Alice can go another 10 years if he really wants to, so I don't see him 'signing off' anytime soon.

He seems to be having too much fun anyhow.

I remember years ago Alice talking about how he wonders what a Welcome To My Nightmare show would be like now with all the new technology and what not. I never actually thought he would do it because of how expensive it might be but from the recent interviews it's obvious he's doing it. He said it will be at least as big as WTMN tour and he can't see it not being better. As for the music itself, again it's obvious he's going all out

I agree! I think he's merely fulfilling something he has been curious to do since the '80's

Will he get the backing financially to put on a show of this magnitude??Back in 1975,he was in his prime, with a succession of hit albums to his credit.

Well, financially and numbers wise I don't think so, but I'm sure it will be a benchmark release for Alice.

I only just read about this. Ive obviously been behind in Coop news but WOW!!! Super excited. Yeah I remember him talking about doing a show with the Nightmare. Think I heard a one time deal in Vegas or something but this is even better. An album and a show and in this video http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http:// ... Bo&h=60fc0 , he says its being recorded with the original boys (-Bux). WOW!!! THAT IS THE BEST COOP NEWS IVE HEARD!! Unless its an edit and he was talking about Hall of Fame show...
Ive waited for ever to see what they could do again. And with Ezrin. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

Alice said this is exactly where the music should have continued after 'Welcome To My Nightmare'. Most fans seem to enjoy the groups efforts more so than Alice's solo efforts. I'm unbiased in the debate, but I am very excited to hear what the original group will pull off for this album. I think 'Welcome To My Nightmare' is definitely the best concept album, and most recognized album Alice has released. If the title suggests the new album will be anything like the original, I know it will not disappoint.
My biggest hopes for the new album are that it gets proper promotion from the record label, and that the tour is Alice's most theatrical to date! (Do you think the original group will come along for the Nightmare tour?)

It would be great if the original group did a 3 song encore or something at least

Looks like Slash is going to be on the album as well, according to the "Caller" article

It seems to me like Rob would be making an appearance too, but who knows.

Steve IS appearing on the album. Hunter (SickThings) posted a pic of Bob, Steve and the other fellow in the studio.

I don't hope it will be an allstar album. Too many captains on a ship :nono:
