Good luck with the Time Warp world record attempt you guys, i`m sure a one Mr S. Crayn will be down the front orchestrating the whole affair.
With his hands on his hips of course.

I will be at the Swedish Sonisphere, but I guess that doesn't "count" in this thread.

From what ravenred has told me, they dropped the barrier to get to the stage and Kai started running, so she had little choice but to follow! :rotfl:

She then very kindly called me during the show so I could hear Poison.

Ah kids! That child is very well trained!

A friend offered to call me during the Belgium show tomorrow but I turned it down it would be way to expensive for her.

hahaha that's awesome!

I once called someone when I was at a Hocico concert, but she never asked for it.. :P she didn't have her phone with her, so all the noise was on her voicemail

next day I saw her at school and told her she had to listen her voicemail... and so she did  she was shocked

It was MENTAL! I honestly was not going to try for the front. When we first got there we went to find the stage. There was a barrier around a large part of the standing area & a few people sitting about. I met up with Bill & some others then went off in search of some food. That's when Kai started on about getting to the front! He didn't let up about it even when I explained that IF we did do it & it was unlikely, we would be standing there for a total of around 7 hours! He still didn't let up & as I had his 9yr old friend with me too she then didn't let up.
I spoke to a security guy who said that the barriers would be taken down & to watch out for the security team to come out. They came out & we stood up. Bill had gone off somewhere but two of the girls he was with earlier came over to me to discuss where to aim for & to try & spread out. So the barriers come down but nobody is allowed to move, then someone has said go, the girls are running in one direction but Kai has taken off (believe me he can run)in the opposite direction & all I can see is hundreds of people from all directions running,so I've had to run after Kai (who made the barrier easily)& get behind him before he got squished. And that's where we stayed ( I managed to squeze his friend in front of me too). I won't lie & say it was easy but I had some cool guys around me & the security were great. I also had a few rude words & a scrape of my heeled boots down a few idiots shins!I'm glad I did it but i will NEVER being doing a festival again.

Have to hand it to Kai though,he didn't moan or whinge once,he stood his time (he doesn't often get on the barrier as I usually put him on the balcony with his dad)& he rocked as hard as most adults I know. That's his dedication to Alice.

Wow! I would have been a bit worried in your place. You have a great kid though. And you're a great mum, my parents never let me go to any concert until I was 17 and my dad came along because he was sure I'd never make it on my own. But I still bless him for that or I would never have seen Queen ;)
