7 years left?

Post by kevinuk81 » Sat Jul 24, 2010 10:56 am

Just read that The Rolling Stones are going to stop touring in 2012, does that mean we only have until 2017 to see Alice?
Anything I say or write is my own personal opinion, no matter who agrees or disagrees with me.

If someone ever told me that I would still be seeing Alice NOW in 2010, I would have been pretty ecstatic. So, if we "only" have 7 more years I will certainly take it. Every tour I wonder about it.

Alice has told he has AT LEAST 7 years after R.Stones retiring. In my opinion if alice has no health problems(God Bless),he has at least 10 more yars ahead.

Many of my musical heroes are getting up there in age. Ronnie James Dio's tragic death should remind everyone that we can never take anything for granted and enjoy every moment while we can.

Hmm, I have still not seen the Rolling Stones...better keep an eye on this.
...And personally, I don't care.

Didn't Mick Jagger also say that he had planned to retire when he was 30&*? I'm with Tony - considering also that I got on the AC bandwagon so much later than a lot of people around here, I'll happily take what I can get. Given the names that are being rolled out for the W2MN album I have wondered if it's a "last hurrah" project.

*(Mick said this in a TV/interview special done with Chris Evans when they did the Bridges to Babylon tour).

alice has already proven he can sing in both a wheelchair and with a cane,so I'm not worried about him getting older! heck,he even survives be-headings and hangings!
