Congrats to the Coop and hopefully Solid Rock. Hope there is video of the shot online some time soon.

Hope he isn't wearing his "Loudmouth" slacks with that lucky plaid vest, LOL!

"It's all about charity and having a great time at the 16th hole," said tournament chairman David Rauch, who called the contest a "fantastic way to start the tournament."

I profess to know next to nothing about golf, aside from there being 18 holes on a regular course; but isn't the 'fun-time' normally around the "19th hole"?

Maybe they decided on an early bath?

This hole is quite famous because they seat 10,000+ people around it in stadium fashion. The fans party all day long, and while golf crowds are normally reserved, this hole is unique because it is like an end zone at a college football rivalry. Good shots are cheered and bad shots jeered. Tiger once made a hole in one there and the place went crazy. Heck of a scene for da Coop to come up big!!! You know he had to be lovin' it!
