shading, colouring and such are pretty good... but the proportions...

I know,, you have to remember though,, hes looking up,, therefore his neck will be a lil longer.

I have to say I do agree on the proportion "issue", but that said I have next to zero artistic talent myself. As we're on the subject, here's mine (in line with the statement I just made, of course this artwork isn't mine!):

I have to admit that I was worried about that, but the artist that did it (www.granthood.co.uk) was very open about my fears and said that the good thing about paint was that if he screwed it up he could remove it and start over. He's an amazing artist and I have been in touch with him about a second project.
