Re: Alice at Knebworth 2010
A bit early to know if I can afford that. Will have to pass I'm afraid.
Glasto should also be the place to be next year. Of course the waiting list must be so long by now that I totally gave up on it.

Re: Alice at Knebworth 2010
Is there an official Knebworth website? I have done a google search, but main link seems to be on a Face Book page and I am not on FB. Can't see anything on AC.com yet.
At least in means he will be in UK mid summer next year, so I suppose he could do a few other events. He has not played Liverpool Summer Pops since 2003......

Wow. Iggy and the Stooges too! (just finished the Iggy biography)....
However, spent loads on the tour this last few weeks, and there is Christams to come, so doubt I could afford to splash out on a ticket until January pay day..
Will wait to see if there are any tix left then. Does Knebworth sell out as fast as Glasto? I suspect not.

No, Dave. I meant to use it as a reaction to the news.

Can't have it all Sparky! But I second that emotion!
Maybe we should all play the lottery, if we win we could put the money in a STUK fund and get tickets to all of Alice's shows for all of us?

Camping + smelly portaloos
They may do day tickets at a later date? Don't really fancy the whole weekend.

Yes, well, having discussed this with her Ladyship, we will probably do the 3 days together....we haven't had a child free weekend away since 2004!
Just hope tix are still available come January pay day.

I've been told they do sell day tickets later, and that this years festival didn`t sell out. Just saying what I'm told. We're not even going to think about it yet!!!

Re: Alice at Knebworth 2010
I'm sure they will do day tickets, it would be commercial suicide not to.
The last 'more than one day' UK festival Alice did was Reading in 87, and I and a lot of Alice fans I know only went to see him on the Sunday and couldn't really care less about the other groups and I'm only going to see Alice at Knebworth as well.
Sure, it's a bonus if other acts are on on the Friday that are worth seeing, but it's Alice who will steal the whole festival because as we all know he is the best!
Guilford Festival was cool a few years back as The Darkness were really good and Monsters of Rock was also great as Deep Purple and Ted Nugent were really good, but Alice is always is the main event and will always blow everyone away because he has the best songs and the best stage show.

Re: Alice at Knebworth 2010
This is awesome news. I was recently made redundant which meant i had to miss the recent tour.
Sonisphere was a pretty good festival this year, and next years lineup looks fantastic. Maiden, Rammstein & Alice! Wow!
