Plus it is very much hit and miss as to whether they will catch it. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don`t.
Well, if you're going to be Mr Multiple Copies that's your own affair.

FYI... Got a look at the gatefold today. It is the same as the lyrics sleeve included in the original release. I believe that the photos (AC, spider) are in color. What remains to be seen is if there is a special sleeve included with this release. My guess is not... Audiophile releases tend to be supplied with high-quality paper sleeves. But, that's just a guess..... Looking forward to some reviews.

picked my copy up last night. As was mentioned, the
gatefold is a somewhat more artful copy of the
original inside sleeve. (lyrics and a photo of AC
and a black widow) Also as speculated the inside sleeve
of the new release is the high-grade plain white paper.
The back cover is slightly different. Some additional
credits for the re-release and the Friday Music logo.

I think you can get around that (although maybe not always) if it is marked as a gift and a reputable retailer might want to do that.
nope, marking it as a gift makes no difference.

It has for me many times (but not always, which is why I wrote "although maybe not always") and it's worked more often than it hasn't, as well.
