Kane Roberts Interview on Alice
Andy Michael sent me this link a few days ago, it is one of those interviews where you need to stop what you are doing and read, fantastic stuff and some great pics too, thanks Andy.

Yes, it is a really interesting interview. And I like what Kane said about both Brian and Andy. I totally agree with him.

Re: Kane Roberts Interview on Alice
That was indeed an excellent read, thank you. I know this has been discussed and debated before, and I may be in the minority, but I always liked Kane's time in the band. I know some people don't like the way he played the classic material but his guitar sound was perfect for the 80's. I always thought he was underrated.
As far as the studio albums go, it's interesting that Roberts made reference to the thing I always thought held the Constrictor album back---the drum sound. Raise Your Fist and Yell, on the other hand, is a masterpiece.

we're both in that minority then, the nightmare returns is my favourite AC- dvd, still wishing for a complete live in the flesh dvd.cooperrocks wrote: and I may be in the minority, but I always liked Kane's time in the band.

Re: Kane Roberts Interview on Alice
Every guitar player that has played with Alice has to be a top player and people should recognise what an important job Kane did in Alice's comeback in 86, saw him play 11 times during his Alice period and every night he was superb.
Raise your Fist is verging on greatness only let down by a few tracks on side 1 but side 2 is awesome.
Also think Freedom was the last great Alice anthem what a killer song , the Elected of the 1980s
