Although my profile says December 2007, I've been here since early 2005. It was a few months after the 2004 crash.

True story... due to an on-going PM problem I was having Si had to kill my account in December 2007 and bring me back to life under a new account (although he kept my post count the same), hence the new account date.

Due to the already existing post count I got razzed by everybody because my profile said I made something like 3000 posts a day after two or three days of the new account (after the board automatically averages the post count over the days you've been a member).

Hard to believe it'll be five years next year. Many good folks I've met here over these years.

According to my profile I've been hanging here since Sat Jun 25, 2005 12:54 am. Man, has it been so long already... and when I came here I was still a stupid KISS fan (I'm not saying KISS fans are stupid, just that I was).
Despite some changes over the years I still think this is a great site and I wear my SickthingsUK t-shirt with pride.

I joined recently although I have been lurking for a while. Unfortunately for me I have posted some very regrettable comments across this board. I said some things that shouldn't have been said.

Well if you count the mailing lists. The old YahooST group is my oldest online group. I joined that after finally seeing Alice live in July 1997! You were just a toddler then, if I got that right!

I only joined this forum last year (I am kind of active on a few other forums and need some time to work

) I gave in after resisting for a while

Certainly don't regret it other than I have no life now

I was part of the old Dragontown Forums, which is what STUK would link to as a "forum." That site went down, Si tried out his own board, a decision he is still kicking himself in the arse over no doubt.
