Heh, Dirty Diamonds will always have a special spot for me as it was that tour that made me a fan, and that was the first album I bought!

I love these parlor games and hearing other people's views.

My favorites:
Billion Dollar Babies - definitive
Killer
From the Inside
Dada - my personal favorite
Dirty Diamonds (stunned that some don't like this. I believe its one of his most accessible for non-Alice fans and just plain great. I guess that makes DD my sleeper pick. Also the title track is one of his best modern day songs played live)

Good:
Love it to Death
Schools Out
Welcome to my Nightmare (I realize a classic, just not top tier for me)
Alice Cooper Goes to Hell
Flush the Fashion (fun)
Special Forces (fun)
Trash (used to be disappointing category but grew on me)
Hey Stoopid
The Last Temptation (close to my top tier)
Brutal Planet (also close to my top tier)
Dragontown (some don't like this one but I do)

Disappointing:
Muscle of Love (really not bad though)
Lace and Whiskey (has a strange charm)
Zipper Catches Skin (like side two)
Constrictor (hate it)
Raise Your Fist and Yell (better, but hate these metal albums and both album covers)
Eyes of Alice Cooper (never grew on me)
Along Came a Spider (fantastic potential not well executed)

Outside of maybe a couple of different albums that list closely reflects how I feel.

I'll play along. What the hell. Not much to seperate the first three catagories to be honest.

Classick:
LITD, Killer, SO, B$B, WTMN

Almost as good:
MOL, GTH, FTI, Dada

Excellent albums (but maybe lacking in some area):
PFY, EA, L&W, SF, ZCS, TLT, DT, DD

The "good but aren't the first on the stereo Department" for various reasons:
FTF, Constrictor, RYFAY, HS, BP, Eyes.

Virtually never played:
Trash, ACAS

Sure I missed one somewhere...

Anyone know if Alice himself has rated his discography, either by album or individual song?
Something like Kiss (Gene and Paul) did in Behind the Mask.

Would be curious to hear Alice's true analysis of his work, and not just his commentary following each album's completion.

He has done so when asked, although he finds it very difficult to do. He seems to single out "Love It To Death" and "From The Inside" as his 'favourites', although for different reasons.

GARBAGE DISPOSAL - Its gotta be DIRTY DIAMONDS, which has to be the WORSE thing that Alice has ever made. Its just too painful to listen to.
Oh, that's ACAS for me! With that horrible, contrived and badly produced, sell out, metal 'Constrictor' effort following VERY closely behind!

Personal faves would be Flush the Fashion and Dada for me.

While this can be different than a "personal favorite", Alice does say this in "Golf Monster":

KILLER, with "Be My Lover" and "Under My Wheels," was the sixth biggest-selling album of 1971. It's our best album, according to a lot of critics, as far as pure rock 'n' roll goes. I agree with that, because it was an extension of LOVE IT TO DEATH - the songs came quick and easy. We would write and arrange them, and then Bob would throw in a few clever ideas.

True, AND I think his personal favourite track is still 'Serious' off the "From The Inside" album.
