I watched Prime Cuts on VH1-Classic yesterday. I agree that it is good to see Alice get a little exposure on VH-1 Classic. I have always hoped VH-1 would choose Alice for one of those VH-1 Rock Honors shows.

Anyways I own "Prime Cuts" and can watch it when I want.

VH1 used to be okay until they started putting rap on there. Now it blows!

I mean finally because he getting documentary spot as apposed to 2 videos on Metal Mania.
And VH-1 Classic is still mainstream Media here in America.

You'd be surprised though, the ones that do prefer it to VH-1 and Mtv. Which is total crap. More people are turning to the Classic.

Thats true here. Young people are looking for better music. It is very nice to see Alice on there.

I don't think you've grasped my point, which was that you made it sound like Alice never appears in the "mainstream media" and that the "mainstream media" matters. I'm not saying it's a bad thing he's going to be on that channel, just that it doesn't matter as much as it did in 1991, say.

I totally agree with that.

I can't say how important it was in '91, what with me not being alive then, but I know that a lot of high-school age kids still pickup bands places like that. So it could definately be pretty helpful. Of course, almost everyone at my school already knows about Alice from my wardrobe.
