School's Out D-45

Post by Dannorama » Wed Aug 12, 2009 6:41 pm

Just noticed this on iTunes (USA)

They now have a digital 45 available of School's Out b/w Gutter Cat. The accompanying photo is the classic garbage can pose:http://www.sickthingsuk.co.uk/singles/covers/so1.jpg

It appears that they are using the original "single mix" for these songs. Gutter Cat lasts only 3:47.

Thanks Danno; y'know (for me), the strange thing about that picture, when I first saw it (on the inside lid of the 'Schools' Out' LP) was that I never noticed Dennis in the trash can, pointing the pistol!

I think it was about three or four years before I saw him! Duh!

I actually read about this earlier but forgot about it. Rhino Records are releasing several digital 45s with their original artwork and b-sides in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the 45. But School's Out will be the only Alice one.
