Wow, that sounds fantastic! I'd love to see a picture of that, i'm very pleased that my former cane is being lovingly cared for!Maurice wrote:Very much so, Dan, very much so.While Heaven Wept wrote: his cane from the 1997 London Astoria show, which has since been given a new loving home.
Whilst on the subject, I have put it and the Providence in a special perspex Showcase, made by a company called Sora Showcases from Germany. These perspex cases are actually made for model trains, and so are just perfect for displaying an Alice cane being only a few inches longer than the cane, andjust under 2 inches square section with a mirrored background.
I feed and water it twice a day, and occasionally take it out for a twirl whenever I play 'Elected'.

Reading the last two pages, I see I gets no respect.
Pray Baz never throws his dainties on any stage... much like launching a taut bag of nickles, his packed speedos along with the unforgiving laws of gravity could knock a brother out.

If I may put forward a slice of personal colostomy...

Alice's sword fell into the crowd in Perth last week. Toby Mamis was searching for the fan during the show and Calico came out after the show and asked for it back. I believe it was never returned.

Alice also mentioned he was going to put up a reward for its return. I could have even grabbed it myself. I was in the most prime position really. too slow!

Re: Stage Props.....Caught any?
over the many shows since the first one in 1980, the "goodies" have on most occasions eluded me.
As for what I have gotten:
Kane Roberts pick (but handed directly to me)
Kip Winger's towel (as he exited the stage) YUK!
A few "bills".
... and a "pass" in 1986 that I ripped off a jacket that was laying on one of those black movable storage crates in the soundboard area.
The pass as it turned out was a VENUE issued CREW PASS, as I discovered the exact pass at a Loverboy show at the same venue weeks later.
Keep in mind that at the time of the big "heist" I was about 18. I would eventually grow up to be an honest person with integrity...working in auto-sales.

At the MEN in 2007 daughter got hold of a Dollar Bill, I did manage to grab a necklace only for some young scrote in front to rip it from my grasp.
We did get some Lemmy picks off the floor after the gig.

Off topic, but last Friday I nearly caught a pick from Roger Glover, it landed at my feet, but the little girls in front of me were faster (and closer to the ground LOL)
