Re: Thirteen
Shocking, totally shocking.
The choice of song is good but..............
sorry, call me old fashioned, but that vid is just another example of how kids these days no longer have a proper childhood. Such a crying shame.

Just foolin' around on You Tube. I was actually looking at some clips of various drum solos, and somehow I found my way around to this.Baz wrote:Danno , how did you find this.
PS: If you want to have some fun, type "Soundboard Audio" into the You Tube search line.

You know very well what I mean yer old Baz-turd! Its not so much the fact that those kids are covering the song, its just the way most kids want to be 'all grown up' and don't seem to enjoy a proper childhood anymore. Jeez!Baz wrote:HB, yer bloody old fashioned, wots wrong with kids covering a classic song.

Re: Thirteen
So they wanna be rock n roll stars, nowt wrong with that.
Do you want em to go and play marbles instead.
I think it`s a fine effort.
Besides, the kind of childhood you had back in the forties, doesn`t exist any more.

I was born in the 50's as you well know! And yer not far behind me either yer great Yorkshire pudding!
No, theres nothing wrong with kids wanting to be rock stars, nothing at all - its the way those young girls behave. Their KIDS and should act like kids.
Dont get me all wound up. Maybe I am old fashioned. Oh, go and clock watch or something!

Re: Thirteen
J-Store is a clothes chain over here in Sweden. This was used for a commerical for them last fall except they never showed this whole version (and they showed their logo and stuff like that).Malchik wrote:Heh, future hipsters. What the hell is a J-Store?
I'm pretty sure the whole song/video was only done for that commercial really so they might not at all want to be rock stars (it might not even be them preforming the instruments).

Good on those young 'uns. Anytime you have someone singing into a hair dryer... that's really saying something.
If I may put forward a slice of personal colostomy...
