Inked Alice
hey, just noticed on a pic. from Alice's latest tour that it looks like he may have a tatoo of a cross, here is a link to the pic. http://www.sickthingsuk.co.uk/photos/20 ... erfurt.php
it is the seventh to the last one. What does everyone else think?

Re: Inked Alice
I can't get it 'close enough' to tell. Sometimes that doesn't help either. Every time I try to move the frame, the picure fades to the next or the last... (Great pics, btw! *smile!)
Fake tatts are easy these days. With the needle phobia, I would say, "No." (getting a tatt doesn't involve actually seeing a 'medicinal needle' though...).
However, with the "Belief Factor", I would say, "Yes." That would not surprise me at all.
There's a kind of 'psychology' to 'tatts', though. They're very, very personal and highly public at the same time. The "significance" would have to outweigh the 'fear' and I would say GENERALLY - that IS possible...
Can't tell, but great photos!

Hairy belly button? Does the Coop color his chest hair? Boxers, briefs or commando? All important questions of the day.
I am ready for another tour, how about you? Can't wait for 2009.

If you look at a few pics before the one in question you will see a cross quite clearly. I would say its a necklace.
Re: Inked Alice
It's a chain/necklace Christian cross. His posture makes it look lower on his torso.

Re: Inked Alice
It is a necklace. I've seen this necklace on him at shows and in photos. Alice has no tats (he hates needles).

Haha...you posted over on NWAC too, right? I'd add my same comments over there, but people beat me to it here.
Yup...still looks like the necklace to me, like people said.

Re: Inked Alice
That would make it a 32 to 36 inch chain it's hanging on. (sorry, Seamstress: I'm good with measurements)...

Re: Inked Alice
The object in question GLEAMS in the other photos, yet appears flat, dull and 'green' in this one photo. Could be a result of the shadow of the shirt..Very interesting! Kind of like: CSI SickthingsUK! Aheheheh!
I'm going with a "tatt" of some sort: be it fake, airbrushed, and or real...it wouldn't be surprising.
Fun Stuff!

Re: Inked Alice
I'm saying it's the necklace since it has the same shape, is placed around the same parts and makes sense to be seen under the shirt since it only shows up on top of it in some pictures. The not gleaming is only due to shadows/lack of lightning on it.
And having a fake tatt there doesn't make much sense in my opinion (I would guess you would want it somewhere where people can see it if it's only a fake).

Re: Inked Alice
I'm not saying anyone's wrong or anyone's right: I'm respecting all opinions here...
But we're looking at it: so it's in a place that it can be seen, even if only rarely, right?
Whatever it is: it's definately stirred up the curiosity!

Re: Inked Alice
Personally, I still think in that pic the top part looks a bit lighter, like that's where the lights hitting it a bit. And perhaps the darker tone is coming from the fact that it's near his black girdle and shirt...may be reflecting some of that, or those just absorbing deflecting some light.
Sparky....didn't his shirt come up there in Vegas at least one show? And wasn't it open in London? I know it did at one outdoor show in Wisconsin.
So...it'd either be new, or not always there.
I still think it's the necklace. My 2 cents worth.
