Re: 2008 Pudding
No, they're not the same building at all. And to the best of my knowledge the Pudding has always been held at the Dodge. If not, I'm sure it was another theater and not Cooperstown. The performance area at C-Town is pretty small, and outside with no proper "backstage."
Cooperstown is Alice's rock/sports bar, and the Dodge theater is just a local Phoenix theater.

So, when Robby Krieger of the Doors performed, he played with Alice's current band (albeit with Jimmy Degrasso instead of Eric Singer). And Alice did the vocals. They played Roadhouse Blues and Riders on the Storm. That was cool.

Re: 2008 Pudding
And Alice did just perform 10 of his greatest hits. Though, I was chatting with some crew, and the plan/hope for performing "Killer" was still being pursued up until Thanksgiving.
And, of COURSE.....Whiskey Falls just NAILED their peformance! Great stuff!! They played two songs that'll be on their 2nd album--"These Hands" and "Hellbilly." News of when that's coming out/their new label ought to be around shortly. They did officially announce their involvement in a rodeo reality series on Spike TV. That starts in January (at least...the filming. It's a reality show, so not entirely sure when it starts airing.)
Ah...quick google....premieres Jan. 29th and is called "The Toughest Cowboy."

Produced by Mark Burnett.

Re: 2008 Pudding
Thanks for that, Dragonlady! Alice does an awesome job covering the Doors....and it's not easy to fill Jim Morrison's shoes but Alice is perfect....I think this shows that Alice is underrated as a singer sometimes.
