Post by Nev » Fri Sep 19, 2008 11:11 pm

How is it people get alice cooper props and things? Ive seen a lot of fans with cool Alice used gear. How do you get it?
I can understand something that are thrown off stage but things like maracas and jackets? Do you just ask him and he gives? heheh

The items I've been able to get at shows were thrown out from the band or by Alice. Ryan Roxie almost took my eye out by flinging a pick a little too hard on the 1999 tour, but I haven't had luck (yet) in getting anything else.
If I may put forward a slice of personal colostomy...

Most of the things that I have I caught. Some were given to me by band members (such as setlists). As far as catching things, it's usually a matter of being at the right place at the right time.

I did meet the Coop though, so thats just as good.
Another time...another $500...I will get a cane.

Occasionally Brian sells things on eBay. A friend of mine did get given a set of maracas as they had got broken that night when Alice threw them to the ground one time too many and so they had to get a new pair for the show - thus, the broken ones were going begging. As Skullyboy says, right place at right time is usually the key. Only things that I have "from the stage" are the normal things such as cane, crop, picks, 'diamonds' and dollar bills.

Yes I was lucky to get those broken maracas lol. I also got some headless flowers and a pepsi can Alice had taken a sip out of too. Best tasting Pepsi ever.
