Take this story for what it's worth...
A while back one of the DJs on our local radio station relayed the following story...
When Alice came in to sing the national anthem at a Pittsburgh Pirate game, around 1994 or so, afterwards he was sitting in the press box eating a Primanti Bros. sandwich (a Pittsburgh specialty). Anyhow, the sandwiches are large and Alice was having a tough time eating the sandwhich and keeping his "dentures" in place.
The Primanti Bros. sandwich is a sandwich (various kinds depending on what you order... corned beef, etc) that has the coleslaw & the french fries also on the sandwich itself. It makes for a very tall sandwich.

Nah....I don't think so. Given that he used to have gaps where he now does not, dentures/partials seem a very possible option.
Funny....other than when I first started to get into Alice and looked at some older and newer pictures the same day and thought "oh, his teeth look different"...I'd never given this nearly as much thought as some people seem to have done!

maybe we could talk about his nose. at least there would be no arguments.NotSoPerfect wrote:Nah....I don't think so. Given that he used to have gaps where he now does not, dentures/partials seem a very possible option.

Don't know what all the fuss is about, someone asked a question and I answered it. One only needs to watch POL to see that Alice has had MAJOR dental surgery - so what? His teeth look much much better, I still scratch my head as to why he made them bigger than they were naturally though!??
Talking of teeth and noses; did you know that Freddie Mercury, Rod Stewart and Elton John were going to form a band: 'Teeth, Nose and Hair'? - apparently
What about Alice's hair? How many of you don't know it's white under there? Or am I exaggerating again!???

As long as it's factual and not vicious, I don't see what the problem is (apart from the fact that it would be a dumb thread). After all, Alice makes more fun of his nose than anyone else does.
why vicious? i was only kidding. so what you are saying its ok to talk about alice's nose if based on fact. plus alice makes fun of his own nose more than anyone else does. how do you know this for a fact, what evidence do you have to back up your statement?

Don't know what all the fuss is about,
That's pretty obvious. Rather than go through the whole thing again, I'm happy to explain it to you in simple terms (even though I though I had already done that) in private.
>One only needs to watch POL to see that Alice has had MAJOR dental surgery
I'm not denying that, but it's becoming more and more obvious that you have either not read a single word I have posted in reply to you, or that you haven't understood any of those words.

Learn to read. I never said your post was vicious, if that's what you're implying. I said as long as the "talk" (your word) is not a vicious attack based on someone's nose.
>i was only kidding.
That did occur to me, but then I saw that you had used the 'telloff' emoticon, so it was hard to tell. If you were joking and wanted to make that clear, you should have used the appropriate emoticon for that. Instead, you gave the impression that if Alice's nose was to be discussed, then it shouldn't be. That's why I said there should be no problem if that's what you wanted to do, as long as it didn't turn into a vicious (personal) attack. This is yet another example of you not knowing how to post on this board and therefore, your meaning is not clear. Both glamprincess and steven_crayn have had to point that out to you as well.
> so what you are saying its ok to talk about alice's nose if based on fact.
Sure and as long as we're don't get unneccary personal comments as a result.
>plus alice makes fun of his own nose more than anyone else does. how do you know this for a fact, what evidence do you have to back up your statement?
I've heard him do it many times, both in person, in print and in interviews. Do you really think I would post something here and not be at the very least reasonably sure about it? Do me a favour.
