Fanfire Nightmares
I had a horrible dream last night.
I got to my concert and I didnt know who was giving me my laminate and pass to meet the Coop. So when I got there I wasnt able to get in and I was missing my chance to meet him etc. Plus I forgot my camera.
I remember going to a fanfire booth and they told me to go to the ticket master booth quickly to get my stuff and I went there but they told me its Fanfire. I ended up not getting in at all and I wanted to die.
Point of this story is that maybe if the meet and greet was more organized I wouldnt be having these nightmares.
I want my stuff now, not the day of. Im not really even sure when and how I get my laminate etc.

To note on the DD package I got my shirt the day before the show, I think.
Nev, don't quote me on this... but I think the shirt is all you'd get before the show... and maybe the guitar picks (that's part of this package, no?). The laminate I would think you'd get at the show (as there's less chance of forgetting it at home or losing it). That's where we got ours.
Again, don't take my word for anything, I can only speak of my experience three years ago.

Well at least you get the chance. In Europe there is no such thing.
Personally the only thing that matters is to be as close as possible to the stage during the concert, I don't really care about meet and greet things.
About dreams. It's strange when I dream of concerts, it always goes wrong, I end up in the wrong section or the concert is delayed or I get lost...etc Except when I dream of Alice, then it's always great, I am close to the stage, it's usually a small club so no big crowd and the music is great. Weird ey?

well if it'll put your mind at rest, i did the Fanfire thing at Newcastle and it went through no bother at all.
i had to be at the venue a certain time before normal opening, and the guy in charge came out and took us all in. i believe i had to take the email purchase letter as confirmation, and when that was sorted we were given the laminates, tickets and he went over the drill for the rest of the night. we did the backstage tour thing, then were left to our own devices. after the show we'd been told to meet up at a particular Block of the arena, and the guy was waiting thre for us, and took us to meet the Coop. opinions seem to vary as to how he reacts to your own camera, officially you're not suppose to take pics w/ it at the mmet (ok during the show tho), same as officially he'll only sign one item each. the official pics they take are loaded onto a website and they mail you a link when ready. i got my t-shirt a few days after the gig, not too bothered about that.
seriously, chill and enjoy, there's nowt complex about it.

Alice seemed okay with signing more than one item per person with us, but I don't know if this has changed. And the guy in charge said NO CAMERAS!!!!! killer wolf described exactly what happened here years ago, minus the shirt arriving late.
Don't worry about looking like a putz in the photo, with us they took two pics.
Oh, we had to bring the email letter PLUS PHOTO ID to match the names (drivers licence is what I used). Just do exactly what the email says when you get it.

An avatar?
Find an appropriate pic (there's lots of Alice pics out there or you can use a personal one), ensure it's the right size, and go into your Profile. At the bottom of the page is an Avatar Control Panel where you can add the information.
