Wonder if there's a reason they are doing these particular albums.

Yah seriously. I'd love to have these re-issues but they are an odd choice from Warner’s catalogue. Bonus tracks?

Didn't Warner re-issue PFY and EA too?

MUSCLE and LACE are out of print in America. I thought you could still get GOES TO HELL but its actually unavailable on Amazon. Guess they just want to put these back in print.

Wonder if the packaging for Muscle and LAce will be similar to the German imports, or similar to the US Metal Blade versions from 1990

Rhino Encore releases albums without an remastering or bonus stuff. Simply reissuing stuff that is hard to find or no longer being pressed like with EA and PFY.

I appreciate their gesture, but if I had waited this long to hear Muscle of Love, I might have gone crazy. I bought the German CD.

That's why it is good to have backup copies of them. Burn copies of your imports....because if something happens to them. It will be expensive to replace them. I had mine stolen out of my car....and had to buy them all over again.

If Alice's catalog were owned by one company....and always in print. This wouldn't be a problem....I mean, bands like Kiss, Zeppelin, Queen, Beatles, and Zappa don't have these problems. Also, they would cost less to buy.

No. They are just re-releases, not special editions. You'll probably get the extra tracks with the mega boxset.

What I speak of has been brought up a fair bit on this forum for a few years now. Mega Box set was in the works that included reported remasters of the Warner Bros albums up to DaDa with reports of possible bonus material.

And just to answer any possible questions...

No, there isn't a release date as it's on hold thanks to record company mumbo jumbo. And no, there isn't any more information beyond that.

Are we talking re-issuing CDs here? I didn't know they were hard to get, and if they are, surely you can get them on eBay?

a couple of years a go... :8):
