Did anyone else on her see a musical based around the music of Alice Cooper I think it was called Original Sin late 80's or early 90's.
I saw it in Leeds and the band was really good.
Every song was an Alice song apart from one, That's The Way God Planned It by Billy Preston.
I spoke to the guy who put it together, though when I mentioned why he used a Billy Preston song, he told me Alice hadn't done a God type song, to which I mentioned My God, but it turned out Lace & Whiskey was the only album he didn't have.

Quite fascinating Steven. I have often thought, (and on occasion said), that Alices' whole catalogue of music is right for such treatment, so it is good to hear that someone has done it. I had not previously heard of it though.
Admittedly Billy Preston seems an odd choice and when you think of the possible 'God' songs, (without even trying there is Rod Argent for example "God Gave Rock'n'Roll to You"?) and as you suggested 'My God' may have been perfect if the guy had done a little more research.
