I got this file that has some Spiders and early Alice stuff. There is one that is Talk Talk (rehearsal). It sounds like it is from the same era. I was like "What the heck!" So I went and looked on this site and sure enough it says Talk Talk was put out in the 60's by another band. So I suppose this could be an early Spiders or ACG demo. Anyone have any more info on this? (Andy)

Yep, that's what I have.

Flush the fashion is a work of art , there s lots of wit and a great edge to the entire album . The coop was just re inventing himself during this era and i loved it .

And once he released special forces i just flipped , the whole pseudo military general persona was fantastic . The special forces acetate mixs are well worth a listen . I love demos and stuff like that , and im hoping dick wagner will someday release his stuff too .

I love the misunderstood FTF , Special forces , Zipper and Da Da era .

Flush is a strange mix for me, I love,

great stuff.
Asprin Damage, Grim Fact and Headlines, I skip the rest.

Yes, but does anyone know the timeframe on this particular recording of it?

Was it early ACG stuff that never got used until or was this from the Flush timeframe?

It's from the sixties (before the band became Alice Cooper), I think.

what are the special forces acetate mixes? Ive heard of them, but are they that different?

It's been a while since I heard them but I seem to remember hearing different "things" throughout the album." It could have been different sound FX or maybe parts of songs that weren't there on the final album, etc.

The acetate mixes appear to be a near final edit of the album. There is stuff missing like the intro part of Who Do You Think We Are, the crowd noise is missing in Generation Landslide, Viscious Rumors does not have the Who Do You Think We Are outro. Stuff like that.
