Final Verdict for me.....Alice Cooper's "weakest" offerings over the last 40 years are still WAY better than any other band ever dreamed of doing.

Please tell me yer joking, you are, aren`t you ?

Yer not ? oh dear. So you honestly think that in the history of rock, no one has released a song that is anywhere close to Alice.

Can I ask , who else you listen to ?

How can you *not* like "Deeper"? It was like my favorite song off DRAGONTOWN right from the start.

Blasphemy.

I'm the opposite with "Hey Stoopid"... initially I never thought the song was anything too special... but overtime my opinion has changed and now I love it.

The TRASH album hasn't stood up well for me... much of it feels like overly polished watered down Alice. That said, there are still a few great tunes on it.

Other bands I listen to.....Kiss, Coheed and Cambria, Powderfinger, The Wildhearts, Warrior Soul, Robbie Williams, Twisted Sister, W.A.S.P., Anthrax, Clutch, Moby, The Raconteurs, Gnarls Barkley.....and the list really does go on. I have over 7500 songs in my iPod....I am what some would call a "Music Whore"...

But, Alice is much better than all of them. I suppose you would disagree.

Of course I disagree.

Love At Your Convienience better than Detroit Rock City, I don`t think so.

It's not that I don't like it... it's just my least favorite. I am trying to give it a fair shot though.

I don't really get peoples dislike for Millie and Billie, for me it is Alice at his lyrical peak. I don't think anything has ever rivaled it except maybe Pain. Just my opinion.

Overall, I think the use of the word "worst" is not a great word to use. A song/album/era may not be a favorite but I certainly would not use the word "worst".

here's my list. a lot of them could go in the cringeworthy thread, but some of them are really a matter of instrumentation, arrangement, or the way Alice sounds.
feel free to disagree vociferously (as if you wouldn't.... ;)

Unfinished Sweet (cringeworthy)
Pain (dislike the vocal a lot)
Nuclear Infected (cringe)
You Want it You Got it (Cringe)
I Am the Future (arrangement grates on me)
Thrill My Gorilla (cringe)
Step on you (cringe)
Why Trust You (cringe/arrangement/vocal)
Dirty Dreams (cringe! cringe!)
Man of the Year, Backyard Brawl, Steal That Car, Your Own Worst Enemy (with heartfelt apologies to Ryan Roxie, sometimes the combination of Alice's humor with Roxie's catchy melodies really gets under my skin)

Haven't heard the new one yet so I can't comment, and I am not familiar enough with PFY or EA to comment on them. And also, I pretty much dislike Zipper and Constrictor as a whole, but I picked out some particularly less favorite songs.

In general I don't agree with the assessment that Alice's worst are better than others' best by a long shot. However, Alice's best are so good that it's easy to forgive him his worst in my book.

Everyone is going to have a different list, of course.

The ACG albums are exempt from this list because I love those albums. I never get tired of those 7 albums. A unique set of music. Obviously, many people would disagree with me on that but it's just my opinion.

The songs I'm going to list, I don't hate. There just songs that don't quite do it for me. Anyhow, here's my list:

The 70's
Only Women Bleed
Steven
The Awakening
You Gotta Dance
I Never Cry
Wake Me Gently
I'm Going Home
Damned If You Do
You And Me
Ubangi Stomp
(No More) Love At Your Convienience
The Quiet Room
Millie And Billie
How You Gonna See Me Now
Jackknife Johnny

The 80's
Clones
Aspirin Damage
Headlines
Skeletons In The Closet
You Want It You Got It
I Am The Future
Dyslexia
Give It Up
Most Of Constrictor
Most Of Trash

The 90's
Half Of Hey Stoopid

The 00's
Deeper
Dragontown
I Just Wanna Be God
Every Woman Has A Name
Man Of The Year
Novocaine
Be With You Awhile
Detroit City
Backyard Brawl
You Make Me Wanna
Pretty Ballerina
Six Hours
Stand

Well, there you have it!

Like lots of people, it is subject to change. :alice:
