Cool. So who's redesigning it, and how did you find out they were?

Simply put, yours truly had a helping hand in this.ElectedPlus wrote:Cool. So who's redesigning it, and how did you find out they where?
I would tell you more but I'd have to hurt you (or dance naked, which ever one is worse.)

Well that's cool! Congrats! How did you manage to land that job then eh? you must be happy to put in some work for it. Are the other contributors fans of Alice too?
I've seen some of your graphic work before which has been brilliant - tho I gotta admit, I'm surprised ... in the sense that after your first comment I immediately thought that the new record label will be going to web design agencies or some such for a redesign, instead of fans.
Even more looking forward to it now.

Thanks for your kind words! Well I can probably talk more after the launch. As far as me getting this thing, I, as I'm sure the other guys, were brought in from Alice's people. The record company doesn't have much to do with the site that I know of. I have no idea how much of my contributions are being used yet. Just taking it one day at a time.ElectedPlus wrote:Well that's cool! Congrats! How did you manage to land that job then eh? you must be happy to put in some work for it. But for now, I can tell you AC.com is on the right track for sure.
In the mean time, I can tell you my current contribution is the ACAS banner on the home page of STUK (with flash formating by a friend.)

Well, I always thought that the best websites were done by fans, to them it's more than a job it's a passion. Especially if it has to be updated etc. So far the best AC site has always been STUK. I'm sure the offical site will look great now, but it will never be as packed with info as STUK? Both are complementary which is cool.
Compared to other artists I like, Alice's website was one of the best already. Sometimes the official site are so bare and boring that it's a shame.
