Sparticus, aw that's not fair! It can be a wild crowd!

The worst I experienced was at the Astoria in 98. Just as "Lady McBeth" was making her appearance two guys next to me started a fight, security had to climb over the fence to stop them and the blocked my view for the entire song. It was the only chance I ever got to see the snake, and I blew it, I was nearly crying and so furious!
I looove snakes and it meant a lot to me to see our favourite UK reptile live. I even had a webpage with an interview of (an earlier) snake at the time!

The only "mean" thing I've ever done was also at an Alice concert. A woman next to me wanted (I think) me to let her daughter have my place at the front. Any other concert I'd gladly help out a kid, but just not with Alice! It's just once a year (sometimes less) that I get to forget real life totally, and see my hero from up close, if I have a place in the front I am ready to fight for it!
I pretended I didn't understand and then ignored the lady.. :(

Lets see, hmm.. I think this is some of the stuff we have.

hundreds of bills from the stage both in green and orange

a few pairs of dirty diamonds. (one from Alice's mouth)

Keri Kelli cross necklace

a dozen canes or so

various balloons

riding crop

8 or so drumsticks

1/2 a bra from the marquee show
1/2 poster from the same show
1/2 a pool cue from the same show

dozens of signed setlists

tons of guitar picks

Alice's soda can.. (LOL)

One day we will actually take an inventory of what we have here...
:/

I also have what I think was Alice's Sharpie pen from the 2005 Platinum Package signings. I dumped my bag when I got home and there was a silver one at the bottom.

I got a Jason Hook pic at my very first concert in March. I was pretty chuffed with that!

I have more than a few dollar bills... a DD necklace... ballooon parts... and one of Alice's famous canes (which is hangin on my wall and I want to get signed some day).

A few years back in Detroit, we were about 6 rows back center and for some resaon Alice decided to throw one of the Billion Dollar Baby dolls into the audience (which he rarely did). He really wailed it and it was headed straight for me on a low fast trajectory... I got ready to catch it and right as it got there I got absolutely pummeled by everyone around me trying to get it... and it fell to the ground. It was dark and needless to say I didn't come up with it.

That would have been amazing to have one of those...

2 years ago Alice through his riding crop my way at the end of Gimme. It went behind me and hit the floor as the lights went down. I got my hand on it and someone with sharp nails tried to pry it from me. I ended up getting chunks of skin taken off of my knuckles but I got the riding crop. As we were waiting to go backstage my little sister saw that my hand was bleeding and I told her how it happened. She looked down and sure enough, there was blood under her nails. :)

I had been determined that I was getting the riding crop at this show to complete my collection and she wasn't going to let anyone rob me of it....not even myself it appears.

Feezle, that was really funny!

Well I am really happy I got my DD necklace, but I'd love to get a riding crop too! Way cool!

Alice always seems to know who the diehards are at the shows, so it's funny to hear some of YOUR stories about him throwing his cane to you but still come up empty handed. At the show last year he threw dirty diamonds right to me and I caught them in my hand but the guy standing next to me who was about 6" taller and 30-40 years older took them out of my hands. Keep in mind the only song he knew during the whole show was Schools Out. ::((:

Alice looked at me and then threw his cane later on in the show but the throw was a bit off and the group right next to me with the guy that already had the diamonds managed to get the cane as well.
Yep, I knew that cane was comin 20 seconds before he threw it. Did I catch it?

No. ::((:

And I, too would like some dirty diamonds. They would look great in my little cane display case.

I keep my most important items on the top shelf of my bookcase where my cats can't get to it.

As you can see, I am going for the creepy look with the 'fake' dust and cobwebs.

Alice once threw one straight to me front row in Niagara... actually he kinda just let it drop right to me but I had my camera in between me and the stage and the kid next to me had really long arms and grabbed it before I could

I never felt so sick in my life...

--Several Alice dollars, some signed by a combo of Calico, Keri, and Chuck; some are bloody.

--Several Balloon pieces
--One signed by Calico, Check and Keri
--Another that I got in Fargo (the day I met Alice the first time, a couple of hours before). What makes this one unique is that it was the Day that Kyle McDonald was on stage and Alice handed him that giat Red Paperclip, then popped a blood-filled "School's Out" balloon over his head. After the show Calico threw the spare ballon out and it landed on the chair next to me. When some guy and I grabbed it we both tore it open (we didn't know it was blood filled) and it splattered blood all over me.

--Picks from Keri and Jason Hook

--Some Dirty Diamonds

--Chuck's setlist that Keri handed me from the stage

--And my oldest son has a cane that Alice threw to him in Duquoin, IL last August. I know it was for him because he was the only one up front (at my urging) except for this tall guy who snatched it out of he air. When he realized what he did he gave it to my boy ( a wise move for him!).

I think there's more, but I'm drawing a blank right now.
