Alice Guitar Hero Faceplate "official"?

Alice Cooper has his own Guitar hero face plate? Is this for real?
And who designed it? Alice? Why does it look like some kid drew all over it?
I would get it if I didnt already make my own...but its still odd looking....

It is official from Activision anyway, I have it myself, its alright, kinda odd, wish it was more like some of the other artist's faceplates (like an album cover or something).

Strangely enough, this guitar cover is always in stock compared to the other guitar covers at Best Buy who seem to have a hard time keeping them in stock. I just can't figure out why.

I don't think anyone is complaining that a faceplate was made, just that THAT one was made.

I also believe I read that Alice himself was involved in the design of that faceplate.

I think if anything Alice might have done the signature.
Cause unless hes back on the bottle, he couldn't have done the rest....or could he have?

I hope he didn't see that and approve of it.

They(he) should of had Lee Diaz design it. He did awesome work on Alice's cars.

Hmmmm. Interesting.

Well, I was just wondering if this was perhaps the handi-work of Alice himself, because it appears to me as a collection of doodles, as indeed almost 'anyone' would do?

Even his signature has a 'doodled' modification to it with the 'eyes' on the 'o's?

The text, however does say "inspired by" Alice Cooper though.

I would think he would wanna promote himself more in cases like this. I mean, there are more sales on Guitar Hero song downloads than there are on iTunes. GH is a big hit and has lots of advertising potential to new audiences etc. I think it was a big mistake to do something like that. Guitar Hero is HUGE. Could have really sold these out had it been a lot more appealing.

Honestly you'd be surprised what you can find on clearance. Found five completely different CD covers of the infamous Toronto show at a local department store for two bucks each.
