yeah, i was wondering the same, it might be just a simple re-issue of the straight Cds that came out in the late 80s/early 90s

We have emailed Rhino regarding the Albums, we haven't gotten a response yet. When we do we will post it.

Well, I would imagine that they would be remasters because they are being released by Rhino.

The company listed is "Rhino Encore" (which I assume is part of Rhino) who seem to do reissues from what I can see from a quick look up. Just looks like that's all this is, is a back catalog reissue.

Though just wanted to mention the Amazon descrips say that Easy Action is "limited edition."

Picked them up this morning. Nice, but just a re-issue.

Yes. Woburn acually. And the packaging is the same. Looking closely it does indicate the words digital remastering by............ . Don't have the CD here. Left it at work. Anyone have it handy?

I seem to recall hearing an alice interview where he stated that they were remastered.

If anything it should be easy to just compare them to the old cds and listen.

Given the current trends in mastering music (loudness and compression), just because it's "remastered" doesn't mean it will be better.

From what I'm hearing these are straight reissues of the previous CD versions.
Don't hold me on that though as I don't have copies and Rhino haven't bothered to reply (what is it with record companies??)

Message from Rhino Encore

Post by rpchurch » Fri Jun 20, 2008 9:12 pm

I thought you guys might find this interesting. Got it back from Rhino today. (FYI - My suggestion was that they release the later A.C. albums (e.g. - From the Inside, DaDa, Special Forces, et.. al.) with the relative singles/bonus cuts attached to them. Similar to what was done with Welcome to My Nightmare:

Thanks for your email. There will be a limited manufacturing window for these titles, but there will be no limit on how long the available stock will be on sale. Also, thanks for your input. I’ll forward your letter to our suggestion box.
