Okay, what about writing Alice Cooper on toilet walls like I did in the 70's, I don't think the wife will mind if I try it at home first.Shoesalesman wrote:There's a loooooooong thread in this section that kinda covers that very idea.Seriously wrote:In the Sunday Mail Prince, McCartney and others have been giving their latest works away free, why not consider doing the same to increase fan base. Just an idea.

LOL. I really think using my space and facebook are good ways to promote the album. The biggest thing is to find cheap avenues that can get the word out to a large amount of fans. You can do a music review in your local newspaper and reach a select group of people but unless it is something like USA Today or Entertainment Weekly, not that many people are going to see it good or bad.
I would like to see Alice hit a more relevant talk show than Craig Ferguson (who I think is awesome). It would be cool to see Alice on something like Regis and Kelly or I always thought it would be neat to have him on Larry King Live. There are a ton of things he could talk about on King who has celebrities on quite frequently.

Ahhhh but do we REALLY want Daily mail readers as fans ???!!!!!!
The DM did a real hatchet job on Alice in the '70's... ( I still have the article somewhere....).
Of course, the negative publicity they were aiming for "Backfired", and his profile just got bigger......yay!!!
I think Alices official site should at least give us a free t-shirt, which we could wear while doing the weekly shop or something....

Off to the Nutty House
"I may start doing the public toilet wall thing too, it actually sounds like a good idea plus it'd make a change from seeing my home phone number in there".
Nothing wrong or new about scribing on toilet walls, The Who and their management use to do it in the early days, just don't get caught. However, I can see the headlines now in the the local papers, 'Nutty 50 year old writes "Alice Cooper is God" on public toilet wall'. There would be all sorts of psycho reports and off to the nutty house with him.

I did a couple of homemade promotional poster for ACAS when I had nothing better to do today. They're really the same just with different coloring since I could decide which one I liked best.

Probably nothing you can actually use to promote the album but I felt like sharing.
