One of my big interests ( besides Alice ) is Harley Davidson motorcycles. My currently HD is a 53 model which is customized into an old school chopper like they were in the seventies.
My winter project is to turn the bike into "The Coop" which i have named it. My idea is to capture what Alice is all about and put it on the bike. As soon as it ready i will post some pictures of it.
My hope is to get the bike in one of Norways major HD magazines.
One of the editors is an Alice fan so i think it may be a pretty good chance.

What a great idea for a project!

Good luck with it - looking forward to Spring, and the pics already!

Sounds awesome, LT! And good luck with the project. Talking about motorcycles and Alice, here's a rather cool shot of the Coop:

Many thanks for all the nice feedback. It makes me even more motivated. The picture with Alice on the bike was one of my favorites in the seventies. Although this bike has a BMW engine and not a HD. I`ve also read that Alice has no real fascination for motorcycles, cars is more his thing.

If I can chime in here. "your face is tattooed on my shoulder, and your name is scratched into my bike yeah" It would look cook if somewhere on the bike "Alice Cooper" was "scratched"in ( as in painted on the tank or etched on the chrome pipes )

Coop on the bike picture is much easier to look at in comparison to Baz on that turtle.

I'd love a bike but mum says their death traps and she'll disown me if I get one while I'm living at home *sighs*

Sounds awesome mate, can't wait to see it.

Love the pic of Alice on the bike!

What a fab idea LT - cant wait to see the photos of that project.

We are bikers too, have had a couple of Harleys, but now own a Triumph Rocket.

Guess your going to airbrush the tank etc? Just EXACTLY what are you going to paint?

Yes HB. I`m gonna airbrush the tank with one of the scariest Alice C faces i have seen on a picture.
The Coop will be on each side of the tank in blood dripping letters. The bike will also include the snake,
and much more Alice related stuff. Just wait until spring next year and I`m gonna post lots of pictures of the bike. And HB, Triumph are really great bikes !!!

They certainly are LT! They didn't call it a Rocket for nothing.

Such a super cool idea with the snake too. Have you thought about making parts of the bike actually look like a snake by airbrushing scales? - I'm sure you have, dumb question. I have seen it done before, just cant remember where and the effect was totally stunning. Maybe it was one of those paint jobs on OCC or something. :p

Anyways, keep us sickthings up to date with your project - I really cant wait to see how it turns out.

Well everyone. My bike is ready. And it turned out absolutely perfect.
IT`s called The Coop. One month ago Ryan Roxie was having a guitar clinic in my town and of course i went down with the bike. The local newspaper did a story about me, the bike and Ryan Roxie. My next goal is to try to present the bike to Alice when he plays Norway Rock festival this summer. Follow the link to see the story in the local newspaper. http://www.sb.no/article/20080507/KULTUR/161068054. Of course its in Norwegian. I would really like to share some pictures of the bike with you. Where can i post them ? Also there will be a big story on the bike in Norways biggest biker magazine later his summer. As it happens the editor a a big Coop fan.

Best bet is to upload them to a place like Photobucket.com or Imageshack.com and then you can copy the direct html link on to the board (NOT the actual picture as that makes Si cry!) If you're not sure how to go about it then if you like, PM me and I'll be happy to help!

I can't wait to see the pics - I was actually re-reading this thread the other day and wondering if the project was complete!
