why he ditched horror for comedy.
He was born again (or whatever the term is) when he did TLT and that is an absolute beast and his for the most part a very dark horrific album. It cant be religion why he ditched it. Id be interested to know.

Alice, your "fans" describe their unhappiness with practically everything you do. Doesn't that get exhausting?

I'm sure he'd quote Liberace and reply " I cry all the way to the bank!"

I see I have been censored here so probably something about censorship.

One thing I'd ask about is The Night Shift - how far they got writing wise (think I once read it was 10 demos?), if he'd ever revisit the concept, what the twist in the story was if not, if any of the music was repurposed elsewhere.

One slight revision here… “A few of your longer term “fans” .…” I wouldn’t like to be tarred with the same brush.

And to think there are those on here who call others fascists.

Of course not. Prince Of Darkness is a highly religious song, and so was the theatrical live presentation of it.. Sure it was done in the pure horror vein, but the message is quite hard to miss here.
There's also the notion that Alice always was a christian to begin with, but he didn't go public with it until TLT. There are loads of earlier songs that can be seen in a religious light.

I would ask him if he would ever consider doing say a limited amount of "Deep Dive" shows where he played only deeper tracks such as doing say four or five songs off of the early 80s albums. Obviously not a long tour or anything but maybe say 5-10 cities.

I've often wondered what artist's setlists would look like if they played the songs that they really wanted to play. I saw a youtube video the other day where Hank Williams Jr was saying that he never listened to the Grand Ol Opry growing up; what he really liked was blues and soul music. I can't help but think that a lot of musicians get stuck in a form of typecasting or are forced to just play their hits which would be have to be hellish after a few decades.

Im not sure what I would ask him because I’m pretty sure whatever he told me might change when somebody else asked him the same question. He does love to tell a good story.

Are enchiladas with hot sauce a good meal to have before going on stage?

Which is the better album…

The Beach Boys, “Pet Sounds” or The Beatles, “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”?

I'd ask him three questions:

1 - How many said I wonder what happened to Alice?

2 - How many shrugged or laughed?

3 - How many cried?

I expect he'd say he doesn't give a damn.
