two questions:

1: is the source material HD? Sadly I think it's not - but I'd love to be proven wrong. HD was still a few years from becoming the norm....

2: seems the audio has been worked on as well? ay info on this?

seems almost strange to drop 3 random tracks like this. Can we hope there are plans for a blu ray release?

These have been discussed here before. For your first question, it was not HD, but I assume they've gone back to the original master tapes for these, as these new HD files are an improvement over the DVD release. Not full HD, but still more detail. No idea about the audio, but I assume the same applies.

There's been no word of a Blu-ray release, but I hope that's the plan.
