Years since I heard 4th Street. Sounds good to me. Rather disappointing that it's been on YouTube for months and has garnered about 500 views. Might help us understand why there's little appetite for releasing "rare" material

Or that it is a fairly obscure you tube channel. I'm an Alice fan and really want to hear these songs (like nobody move) etc and i never heard of this site, so hardly a gauge of demand

I mentioned the 500 views because the next offering on the same site was obscure Van Halen tracks (part 2) with over 47,000 views

There is more around in the collectors world but they are not willing to share.

If they're on this site & they have something exclusive they should contact Si!
Anyone who's a SickThing should contribute! (when Legal).

quite disheartening if people have these sorts of things and do not share. I dont know another artist where the fan base doesnt share this stuff around hahaha.
Still "if 4th street could talk" is a brilliant track , I also really like the other demo i have heard from hey stoopid - "chemical reaction"
Given the strength of these two tracks they could have been cleaned/tidied up and put out on the album (or the never to realized deluxe reissues.............. but i will stop beating that particular dead horse!)

Did you ever stop to think that there are oftentimes reasons for that? I'll publicly admit that I have a soundboard recording of a show. It was given to me a long time ago by someone connected to the Alice Cooper business. He played part of the CD for me, then said, "You can keep it, but please don't share this with anyone else."

And I haven't. Because I was asked not to. I'm not trying to hoard it or deprive other fans. I'm honoring a request that was made by the person who gave it to me.

I do know there are people out there who sell what they have, or just like knowing they're the only ones who have something. But for some of us, it's because we were asked not to.

Guns n' Roses. Some fans have (allegedly) had unreleased stuff from the protracted Chinese Democracy sessions for years. A good chunk leaked the other year, but I'm not sure if this is what these fans claimed to have, how much there is still unreleased etc. It creates a fair bit of discussion in the hardcore GnR community.

My brother was a big GNR fan and i have heard many Chinese democracy demos over the years. There is allot of stuff that circulates out there.
Its like Black Sabbath, the eternal idol sessions were bootlegged of ray gillen singing the album. then because of this the record company released a 2 disc edition of the album with one disc having tony martin and the second with ray gillen (both are fantastic)
Kiss had the same with carnival of souls, it was heavily bootlegged so the record company released it commercially and considering all circumstances sold very well.

I understand if you have been given something and explicitly asked not to share, i find it rather pointless but i understand. (by pointless i mean, if its not being commercially released why do you need to keep it back? - unless its terrible i suppose - it wont affect sales of anything).

Didn't Alice also record vocals for Jason Hook's second solo album which has not seen the light of day? That would be another one to add to the list.....
