I just want to say I am not a great fan of DADA but going further I loathe the track Dyslexia- there I have said it- the album would imo be improved by leaving that track out.
You are an individual, just like everybody else.

In that case, you could have just said "No I'd rather he left everything alone." like you just did as well as joining in the spirit of the thread - just an honest observation.

I hope you're right but you can never be sure.
>Thank you for trolling though.
Now you are just being silly. I said it was an honest question. Unlike you, I was not being provocative.
Just been re reading the Alice's teeth thread which contains some of your best work in defending Alice. Well done sir.
I would call it pointing out idiocy.
I pronounce you head of the Department Of Tooth!! Carry on.

Have only heard DaDa once, don't see the fascination with it.
Anything I say or write is my own personal opinion, no matter who agrees or disagrees with me.
Re: An eighties classic
Perhaps you need to buy my vinyl copy Kevin, to give it a second listen

Put the lights out, total silence and then give it a proper listen!kevinuk81 wrote:Have only heard DaDa once, don't see the fascination with it.

I'm not ashamed to admit that I like "Dyslexia."

But then again, I like Thrill My Gorilla.

Re: An eighties classic
I love the song Dyslexia. An interesting song that has Alice further exploring new territory. That whole album is just incredible. There's not one thing wrong with it.
Re: An eighties classic
The only redeeming thing in that song is the line "where were you when monkey turned to man".kevinuk81 wrote:But then again, I like Thrill My Gorilla.
"Suki honey it's time to turn back the clock" is downright awful. This reminds me of a song that would be in a Hanna-Barbera cartoon say like The Banana Splits. I think the UK had it's own version of this type of show with some hairy bears or the like.
It was a big rush to have Constrictor released at the time after the lay-off of a few years but it has aged very badly, while Dada is timeless.

I supppose you must be a member of "the lunatic fringe" then.

I think that 'Give it up' and 'He's back' have aged well, i loved that Alice had brought the latter back to the live set. Having said that I was disappointed in constrictor when it came out and have been disappointed in it since. Now that I think about it 'give it up' would be great live again.A_MichaelUK wrote:From mr.barlow:
