I know some US people got delay emails about the box set, and just had a friend saying that Townsend Music is saying it's delayed until after March 1st...
And.. I woke up this morning to emails saying all my orders have been delayed until at least March 1st...
As Townsend Music are the official retailer for the album as per the official site and links this is pretty poor service.
On top of that it will hurt any chart positions etc as a LOT of people will have ordered via the official site/links.
I got a delay notice myself a week or 2 ago & another that relayed a sooner date for delivery. I got an e-mail today that confirms shipment & delivery on Saturday 2-27. Can't wait! But, I must.

On the 25th I go the same delay email saying it wont ship before thr 1st. However last night I got a dispatch notice from Royal Mail and it arrived this morning

I cant believe he butchered Detroit City. I just played the original, and it is cooking. Love the chorus "well I was born there, probably die there, with all my long hair....Detroit City".
Other than that I love the album. "Independence Dave" - classic. I saw someone berate the record, saying it was like 1977. I say, bring it on. My God!

Alice was crap in 1977. Lace and Whiskey and a cruddy live album.

Lace and Whiskey is 60% genius. As in 60% of it is 100% stellar. A couple of songs and a goofy cover let it down.
