Favourite AC Album Art?
What is your favourite AC Album Art of all time?
I've always liked Welcome To My Nightmare, Goes to Hell, The Last Temptation, Dirty Dimanonds, Raise Your Fist and Yell and Dada. As for a favourite, I still can't decide between any of these, probably cause they all have a different theme they work well under when combined with the music.
I do prefer the more surreal/artistically type of interpretations of Alice's face on the album art though. Art like Dada and WTMN really capture the creative genius behind the music and the interesting concept behind it.

I LOVE "Along Came A Spider". The colors are just amazing. The pale white, the blue, the black. "Billion Dollar Babies" also has a pretty sweet cover too. "Welcome to My Nightmare" and "Welcome 2 My Nightmare" are some of my favorite too.

Re: Favourite AC Album Art?
the original vinyl of billion dollar babies is something I have always thought wouldn't be matched... until old school box set came out
maybe billion can still be my fave, only because the box set's cover is a re-interpretation (of another superb artwork!)

Killer for me....
In these matter I have to tell you (if you dont know by now), that there is a very succesfull argentine singer called Andres Calamaro who made an album called EL SALMON, which was a complete cheap rip off the killer cover, he didnt tell anything about it, and I dont remember something in the media addressing this point...

or maybe this one work better:

The Last Temptation was a cool art to see... very complex and rich...

Schools Out. It's the work of a genius. I love Killer and BDB too, but the desk thing is just so brilliant - and I love the way it's been re-interpreted in the box set.

Many good ones... I'm glad to see RYFAY get some positive attention here, it's pretty well done and wonderfully tacky IMO.
As for the Andres Calamaro thing: it seems that whoever designed that cover is familiar with the Killer one, but I don't think it's a huge deal. Also, this is some lame kind of fish and not some cool kind of snake

I IMMEDIATELY thought of Dada when I read this topic title. However, it is merely a modified Dali painting of course. I like TLT, A Fistful of Alice and oddly enough, I like the simplicity of Flush The Fashion. In fact FTF may win it for me! The worst has to be RYFAY followed closely by Dragontown - IMO.

Really? I liked RYFAY. It's tacky but it works for the mood of the image and music. Dragontown was ok. I did like the orange background combined with the devilish stare in AC's eyes. Really showed the music was going in a different direction.

I like Dragontown... for me it's a very very good album. I like it I think more than BP.... The cover is cool also, what I dont like in that "art" is the letter font of the Alice Logo.
The word Dragontwon is nice.

Re: Favourite AC Album Art?
Greatest Hits and From The Inside (Inside possibly having the edge for me)
Re: Favourite AC Album Art?
The Alice Cooper Group - It's kind of hard to pick since the actual album covers were consistantly as good as the music they contained.. I'm giving the edge to Billion Dollar Babies as a whole for the entire package.. Still, I love the stark contrast b/w photography on front and back of Love it to Death..
Alice solo - From the Inside (Hands down).. Maybe second would be the original Welcome to my Nightmare and then The Last Temptation..
