final setlist

Post by patrick » Thu Sep 08, 2022 2:04 pm

Hi Dennis,
with a new tour being kicked off, I wonder..
Everytime there is a lot of talk on the setlist... All fans want different things, deep cuts etc ...
Alice always tells he "has" to do the hits and so on...
If Alice were to do a "final tour" and would ask you (eventually with Neal and MIchael) to put a setlist together that would not need to fullfill commercial aspects, not a greatest hit set, but songs you really would like to play again ..
which seven songs ( to make a not too long..) would you certainly include ..?
thx
Patrick
you really wouldn't understand..

I really do enjoy playing the hits, however, a seven-song deep cuts set? Hmmm...

Return Of The Spiders
You Drive Me Nervous
Luney Tune
Hard Hearted Alice
Fields Of Regret
Long Way To Go
Halo Of Flies

It would be a gas to hear you do these songs live, regardless of the circumstance. I must ask - will you please share your thoughts on “Hard Hearted Alice” and “Fields of Regret?” What is it about those two songs in particular? Are they just fun to play?

HHA, the "B" side to "Teenage Lament '74" - my 1st ACG Single acquisition. I played both sides to death!
High School, "School's Out".. didn't really fit in but, ACG gave reason to to the rhyme.

Thanks for sharing those choices, I am glad you selected Fields of Regret, which is great to hear live, and Return of the Spiders, it really show cases all of the band's talents.

Why did you not include Black Juju?

Black Juju is always performed in my live shows so I don't consider it to be a deep cut.
