Beat Club Extended intro.

Post by pitkin88 » Sun Mar 14, 2021 12:51 am

Hey Dennis,

I always loved this intro to Public Animal No 9. It just rocks and everyone looks like they are having a great time. Your bass is really prominent too!

The band always sounded great on Beat Club. Do you have any recollections from the show? Also was this intro played live on the Schools Out tour?

We did the Killer show in the UK, then came back to America to start the School's Out Tour. The set began with this intro, which I recall working exceptionally well at the Hollywood Bowl.

You also used this intro for the KILLER tour and I think it's great...so much energy as You all begin to warm up for the set. Did all of You write this or was it just something that everyone liked while jamming?

Really good performance by everyone here...Glen is on Fire!

Thank You

Yes, it was a jam. The concept was to open the set from nothing and have it build to a crescendo. The Beat Club footage required film studio lighting but our stage lighting also built from nothing to a crescendo.
