The book Revolutions in Sound: Warner Bros. Records The First Fifty Years has a great photo of a female production employee putting the panties on the School's Out records.

Generally we don't post photos here, but it IS possible to do by clicking the "insert image" button (9th from the left) and then putting the url of the image into the code. Or you can just type it in the following format:

You have the last "/" in the wrong place, and that URL doesn't link to an image anyway so that won't work

It’s funny about the paper panties in the 70s. I was telling my best friend about how the School’s Out album had paper panties wrapped around the vinyl disc.
I guess he wasn’t listening to well.
He later told a guy, a macho tough guy at school, who expected guys to be men, that I referred to the paper sleeve around the discs as “Panties”.
I said, “You didn’t?” “I didn’t say all vinyl discs; only the School’s Out album as an androgynous joke gimmick. Now this tough guy is going to give me a ration of s…!” My friend said, “I’m sorry. I misunderstood you”.

It worked out ok in the end. I converted the tough guy to Alice Cooper. He ended up buying all your albums. He told me he would crank up, “I’m 18” on his stereo while he was working out. He said the song gave him so much energy that he could bench press like crazy!
