I remember reading an interview where someone from the band said there is a story behind this song but didn't share what it is. Do the lyrics refer to some kind of actual event and can you share what that was?

Hmm. This isn't ringing a bell for me, however, it does sound like the kind of thing that would have happened to Michael or someone he knew. Since he wrote it, perhaps he talks about it in his book?

I remember as a 13 year old being gob smacked by the line " stranded in a Chihuahua ". I had no idea it was a Mexican town and thought why is he stranded in a small dogs stomach!
