It was a put-down, meaning something like lame, that Glen used. I don't know if he made it up or if it came from a Bowery Boys film or something. I guess I should ask the other guys about it's origin.

Janice (Glen's sis) and Neal agree with your definition. "A square guy. Someone who does something stupid." Janice recalls that he may have heard it on a movie...or maybe he just made it up while watching a movie.

Glen never used it as a racial slur. With him, anyone could do something that warranted being called a Sid.
