If she did decide to do it, I would imagine she would pick School's Out. Her audience would probably know that song.
I'd personally love to hear her attempt Poison.

Re: Alice or Ozzy
I'm a huge fan of Black Sabbath and Ozzy. Alice wins though.
Nobody comes close to Alice imo.

Yeah, I've always loved DD live but it was the weakest track when I saw him last year in Bournemouth.

I'd love to see Motorhead tour with Alice.
They could do a co-headlining tour. That would be my ultimate Rock n'roll dream.

For me, the chorus hasn't sounded right since the 90's. It's like he changed the tune or something. Maybe it's just my imagination though.RemarkablyInsincere wrote:I've always enjoyed "Poison" live. Never understood the criticism it gets.
Like Pitta said, it has started sounding better in the last few months.

Hopefully we'll get a couple of shows. If not, this will be the first year I've not seen Alice since I became a fan.Somwhere In Auckland wrote:However could it be now ship of fear is cancelled that leaves his Halloween plans open.........

I think there are a lot of instant classics on W2MN. I'll Bite Your Face Off will probably become a live essential and Something To Remember Me By has just as much classic potential as Only Women Bleed. It's just a shame that we haven't got to see that song live.

Completely agree.Pitta wrote:Poison could be a great live track, but...it's hair metal song, and since 1997 Alice try to sing it like a garage rock track. The worst was the Dirty Diamonds tour version. Last year it was better with Orianthi's vocal.

I liked it in the 90s, but since the Brutal Planet tour he changes the way he sings the chorus. It just doesn't sound as good to me lol.

Re: Alice solo tracks that are now classics in your opinion
I still love Poison. It was the first Alice song I heard and it remains one of my favourites. However, I don't like the way Alice changes it when he performs it live. I don't think it's been great live since the 90's.

Re: My God
The production sucks Hmmm, yeah, think I know what you mean. I have always thought it sounds too 'ambient'(although that works with My God ironically enough) as I do with 'Goes to Hell' - not sure what Bob was thinking of with those albums but the warmer/dryer sound on say, FTI (David Foster) works...

I really love most of the songs from this album. The production sucks but the songs are great. My God is the best imo.

Murderdolls are supposed to be a comedy band though, so I don't think the lyrics are meant to be good.
I really enjoyed seeing Ugly Kid Joe warm up for Alice. I'd love to see that again.

Re: the Voice
He has a great voice. Imo, Alice has the best voice in all of rock n'roll. You can really tell what a great voice he has in songs like Salvation, Might As Well Be On Mars etc. What I really love about his voice is that he can make it fit any genre. He's got a great ballad voice but also an amazing h...
